ABOUT LISA

Lisa’s philanthropic consulting practice builds on 35 years of successful fundraising experience, primarily in health care, legal services, and youth development. Lisa helps management and volunteer leadership to identify the most strategic, productive actions they can take to achieve their goals. Her knowledge of major, capital, and planned giving has grown out of her work in annual giving and special events. Lisa has built and maintained relationships throughout the Philadelphia region’s philanthropic community, forging a deep understanding of the local culture and interconnections among philanthropists, funders, and charitable organizations.

With a strong background in nonprofit governance, specifically Boards’ roles and responsibilities, Lisa is adept at coaching and supporting leaders one-on-one and in groups; her robust writing and interpersonal skills complement a creative approach to collaborative gift planning for individual prospects.

Lisa has served in volunteer roles for Management Information Exchange, the ABA Section of Litigation’s Access to Justice Committee, AFP Greater Philadelphia Chapter, Abington YMCA, The UBC 1871 Foundation, and Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.

Lisa is a booster for her hometown of Glenside, just north of Philadelphia, and enjoys walking daily with rescue dog Greetlee (below left) and hiking with her grand-dog, Tino (top). She is an active masters rower and longtime member of University Barge Club on Boathouse Row.
